 The DIAGNOdent laser is a tool that enables us to catch early on set decay.  More and more patients place value on healthy and attractive teeth.  In order to maintain them, the earliest possible care is essential.  DIAGNOdent aids in the detections of caries.  Even very small lesions are detected at the earliest stage, enabling you to protect and preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible.

 The Odyssey Laser presents the latest technology available for soft tissue (gum) modification and preventative care.  The design of the Odyssey is a passion for better dentistry made possible throughout the use of the most sophisticated, precise and minimally invasive technology available. 

VELscope
 
 VELscope is a revolutionary hand-held device that provides us the ability to detect abnormal tissues and cancerous lesions.   Oral cancer is the sixth most common cancer in males in the U.S.  The overall 5-year survival rate for oral cancer is 52%, but when discovered early, it increases to over 80%.  Unfortunately only 35% of oral cancer cases are diagnosed in the early stages.  Due to overwhelming statistics Dr. Weber has decided to include an oral cancer screening for the safety of every one of his patients.         


     Digital Radiographs      

  Digital Radiographs provide many advantages not only for the doctor to diagnose care, but also for the patient.  Digital radiographs reduce the radiation dose by 25% making it much safer for the patient.   Digital also allows us to view the images immediately on the 19 " monitor for doctor and patient viewing.  This not only saves time in processing, but allows us more time to explain the diagnosis to the patient.  

   
The Kodak 8000 Panoramic unit is used in our office to help see not only the teeth but the surrounding areas in your mouth.  This allows Dr. Weber to see the patient's jaw joint, nasal passages, sinuses, check for unusual abnormalities and many other structures which could cause possible harm to the patient's dental health.
